‘Show in a Week’ is a fantastic event for the kids to enjoy during the holidays.
Originally this was a summer holiday club, but due to popular demand we are now extending into all school holidays, keeping children entertained and inspired all year around.
There are two different types of 'Show in a Week':
Drama Based
A play devised for children based on factual and/or historical content, with dance included so there is a choice for everyone.
Dance based
Taking the music from original musicals such as 'Mamma Mia' and 'Hairspray' and telling the story through different styles of dance.
Each week is filled with activities that help children:
- build self confidence
- learn new skills
- and socialise with other children.
The week allows children to learn lines and take part in dancing, making scenery, props and costumes. At the end of our busy preparation and rehearsals, we perform on the Friday afternoon/evening for all family and friends to watch (approx. one hour duration). The show is exciting for the children and enjoyable for everyone to watch!
